Alex M. obtains a franchise with Chevrolet. It was necessary to contract for a specific amount of cars per year, and a $50 per car“earnest” money had to be deposited in advance with Chevrolet.

Andy establishes Rosemount City Insurance Agency in 1974, which became known as Glockner Insurance in 2014.

Ebby purchases Portsmouth Volkswagon-Porsche-Audi-Honda-Toyota and sells the franchise and stock interest to his 22 year old son, Andy.

Andy began Glockner Auto Credit in order to help good people facing bad situations reestablish their credit while driving a nicer, newer car. Always a forward thinker, the Glockner Auto Credit slogan reads “We finance your future, not your past.

The Glockner Family adds the Ford Brand to their already impressive line up when they acquired South Point Ford.

The sixth generation of Glockner active in the business, Tim, Joe, and Mike are poised for the future to grow the enterprise. Starting with our expansion into the Greater Ironton Area. Glockner of Ironton was acquired in August of 2015.

The Glockner family added yet another dealership to their repertoire: Glockner of Ashland, Kentucky. Glockner of Ashland represents the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM brands.
