Bernhard Glockner, came to America in 1847 to pursue his American Dream. Six generations and 173 years later, the Glockner family continues to follow in his footsteps. Bernie G. is the real OG of the small town american lifestyle.

The First Generation Chevrolet K5 Blazer first appeared in 1969 as a competitor to the already established International Harvester Scout and the Ford Bronco, despite its status as the new kid on the block, it was outselling both of its competitors within a year.

Work Hard, Play Hard.

Work hard, play hard. Surviving prohibition, multiple wars, The Great Depression, and other hardships required more playful endeavours to lift everyone’s spirits. Whether a poker game in the basement of the hardware store, a motorcycle race on the country roads, or a good song set on the Kazoo–the Glockner Patriarchs always enjoyed a good laugh (link to Ebby’s laughing song video).

Portsmouth Motorcycle Club

The Portsmouth Motorcycle Club was founded in 1893 by Alex Glockner. It began with 15 bicycle enthusiasts and was originally called the Portsmouth Cycling Club. The American Motorcycle Association recognizes the Portsmouth Motorcycle Club as the oldest motorcycle club in the country.

Murder Was In The Cards

In February 1938, on a typical Portsmouth Sunday night, high rolling poker players from the docked riverboats made their way to Market Street to gamble with their recently received wages.
